As the Bespoke Joinery Design Project Manager you will:

• Lead bespoke joinery projects from concept to production.
• Translate client ideas into detailed technical drawings in SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with designers, production teams and contractors.
• Conduct site surveys and plan for smooth installations.
• Oversee materials, finishes and project timelines.
• Keep clients informed and approvals on track.

As the Bespoke Joinery Design Project Manager you will bring:

• 5+ years’ SolidWorks experience in joinery, fit-out or manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of bespoke joinery methods.
• Proven project management skills with a client-focused approach.

Our client is a globally respected designer and manufacturer of innovative furniture solutions for high-tech and office environments. With origins in the trading, command and control room sectors, they have evolved into a recognised supplier of stylish and functional workstations for modern offices - and they’re looking for a talented Product Designer to join their team.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Sales, Project Management and Installation teams, taking projects from initial brief right through to on-site installation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, skilled Design Team, producing all necessary design and technical documentation, and supporting Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery. This is an on-site based role.

Responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure project success
• Producing high-quality designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Working methodically to manage project workflows and deadlines
• Carrying out quality control checks and attending snagging meetings

Skills and Experience expected from the Product Designer:

• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Product Designer
• Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to projects
• Knowledge (and ideally experience) of creating BoM drawings
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (Keyshot or other rendering software is a plus)

Our client, a specialist in luxury bespoke joinery for luxury residential interiors, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their talented team of designers and cabinet makers in rural Somerset.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing precise 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD, supporting projects from concept to completion. You will be collaborating closely with designers, architects and project managers, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and technical accuracy. They would be open to hybrid working and can offer access to 3D modelling using Fusion 360 and/or Inventor should that be of interest.

Key Responsibilities are to:

• Create and revise 2D CAD drawings
• Interpret design specifications and translate them into technical plans
• Collaborate with design, production, and site teams
• Maintain drawing documentation and CAD files
• Support site surveys and technical data collection

Skills and Experience expected from the CAD Technician:

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician or Draftsperson
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of construction / manufacturing principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)

Desirable:

• 3D modelling experience
• CNC programming and cutting list knowledge
• Practical workshop experience

• Work seamlessly with the rest of the design and production team, ensuring smooth project delivery and high standards.

Skills and Experience needed for the Designer role:

• Accuracy is key, as their clients expect flawless designs.
• You’ll be working with a variety of clients, so your ability to connect with people is essential.
• A strong design eye with the ability to create bespoke solutions that match the client’s brief.
• You’ll need to be comfortable with spreadsheets, emails, and documentation.
• CAD knowledge is a plus but not a must.

• Using AutoCAD for technical drawings and design work
• Facilitating the development of sign-off, setting out, procurement and production of furniture, including cabinetry, metal elements, stone elements and other custom materials and features
• Mechanical and electrical drawings and installation drawings to aid site trades
• Liaising with the design team and project managers
• Working with private clients, architects, developers and interior designers
• Occasional travel mostly to the showroom / studio in London and often to project sites, in order to attend meetings and to carry out site surveys and checks

• A good understanding of high-end custom furniture
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
• Fluent in 2D AutoCAD
• Experience in 3D work and 3D visualisation is a bonus but not essential
• A proactive person with a 'self-starter' attitude and strong time-management skills
• Own car and Driving Licence
