The person for this role should have worked successfully on projects from inception to completion for a minimum period of 5 years, with an industry recognised qualification in Interior Design. The successful candidate will work on a variety of high-end private residential projects in the UK and Europe, and should demonstrate the following skills and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Attending site and client meetings
• Project management including liaising with architects, contractors and trades and the client
• Creation of schemes, sourcing fabrics / furniture/ lighting etc., producing presentation boards, liaising with suppliers and the client
• Producing Schedules (finishes, lighting, paint, ironmongery and Sanitaryware), Scope of Works and client estimates

Skills:

• advanced skills in Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD / VectorWorks, SketchUp
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling) and procurement
• self-motivated and good team player, able to work quickly and efficiently in an organised manner to meet deadlines
• proven experience in dealing with suppliers and contractors
• excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual and must be numerate
• exceptional attention to detail
• Personable, calm and proactive
• Full clean UK Driving Licence

This leading British manufacturer of beautiful bespoke furniture, cabinetry and specialist joinery work with prominent private, professional and commercial clients worldwide. Their large purpose-built manufacturing complex is home to traditional cabinet making, veneering, carving and gilding skills, complemented by modern design, manufacturing and finishing techniques.

Experienced in all aspects of joinery manufacture and installation, they work on both classical and contemporary interiors including dressing rooms, staircases and libraries, cinemas, wine rooms and games rooms. They currently have an opening for a Furniture Technician to join their design and technical team.

Person / Experience Required:

• Skilled in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks
• At least 3 years' experience in a wood based environment - joinery, shopfitting or cabinet making
• CNC and / or hands-on cabinet making experience would be beneficial
• Good interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships

This company is known for producing beautiful and highly detailed commercial furniture for the workplace and with a busy design and engineering team they are now seeking an additional designer. This individual will work closely with the sales and design team to assist with turning enquiries into concept drawings and designs that can be costed before gaining the client’s approval.

The successful applicant will be responsible for producing SolidWork drawings and modeling of standard, tailored and bespoke products for customer approval and manufacture. This will involve liaising with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure all design solutions are in order, the designer will also be generating space plans, 2D drawings, some graphics and concept imagery in response to their customers’ specific requirements.

For the right person there will be an opportunity to be involved in new product development as well.

Person / Experience Required:

• 2+ years' experience from the design sector using SolidWorks
• Furniture or Product Design degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good concept design and 3D modelling abilities
• A high level of initiative and organisational ability would be expected with good interpersonal skills
• AutoCAD and 3D Studio is an advantage although not essential

This family owned business design, supply and fit prestige German and Spanish kitchens for some of the UK's leading home builders. They are an expanding company with 2 showrooms and require a Kitchen Designer to work out of their Head Office near the North Wales and Cheshire borders.

Duties will include managing the kitchen design process from start to finish, working with the External Sales Team and developers providing a range of kitchen design solutions and attending meetings as and when required.

Person / Experience Required:

• A Degree in Design or equivalent work experience in product, interior or kitchen design
• Strong attention to detail

• Experience of using Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, in person, over the phone and via email
