Our client is a renowned design and project management consultancy firm specialising in the hospitality industry. They collaborate with a diverse range of clients, from independent establishments to leading PLCs, to transform bars, restaurants and pubs across the UK. As they embark on an exciting growth journey, they are looking to expand their team with an enthusiastic Interior Designer.
 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects from initial concept to final completion, both independently and collaboratively. Your responsibilities will encompass liaising with suppliers, managing FF&E scheduling and coordinating with on-site contractors.
 
They are in the process on moving into lovely light and airy new premises and offer a relaxed and inclusive culture with a flat management style. They are open to candidates looking to return to work after a break. They are also looking for an Architectural Technician to join the team.
 
Key responsibilities for the Interior Designer are to:
  • Work with the design team to bring innovative concepts to life
  • Manage and execute projects from concept to installation
  • Engage with clients to understand their unique requirements and present design proposals effectively
  • Coordinate with suppliers and maintain FF&E schedules
  • Oversee and communicate with contractors during the on-site execution phase
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design innovations
 
Skills and Experience needed for the Interior Designer:
  • Project Management experience
  • Able to present and handle clients
  • At least 3 years commercial design experience, ideally on hospitality projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe CS or similar
  • Excel and Microsoft literate
  • Driving Licence

This creative and vibrant Interior Design and Architectural Studio work with both private high-end residential and commercial clients, offering a bespoke service covering interior architecture, design, styling and furnishing.

Increasingly busy with lots of exciting new projects starting they are looking for a new mid-weight to senior Interior Designer to join their team and work on projects from concept to completion.

Main Duties include:

  • Managing projects independently or as part of a team.
  • Preparation of detailed and accurate drawings, designs, plans and schemes.
  • Taking responsibility for multiple projects from concept through to installation and styling.
  • Producing accurate schedules for manufacturers.
  • Sourcing and specifying products in line with set client budgets.
  • Producing comprehensive and professional branded mood boards for presentations to clients.
  • Liaising with clients and managing on-site installation.


Skills and Experience expected from the Interior Designer:

  • Strong technical drawing skills using VectorWorks with experience of EstiMac an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for Mac.
  • Experience of running large-scale projects in the high-end residential sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal and visual. The job will involve dealing with clients or suppliers, either in person or over the telephone. The ability to visualise concepts and communicate them to others is also important.
  • A great eye for design and colour, with good 3D and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to create and develop conceptual designs that would seamlessly integrate with their portfolio including the skill of using colour and texture with great attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers

You will be working in a bright and modern multidisciplinary design studio with client meeting and design rooms located in the heart of the Town Centre with good access to main road links (A3 / A31 / M25).

With offices internationally, their London office are currently looking for both a midweight and a senior FF&E Interior Designers to join their very busy team.

In addition to the expected responsibilities of an FF&E Designer, the Senior FF&E Designer will provide strong project leadership, with exceptional communication throughout and encourage and promote team spirit and motivation. You will also be overseeing and supporting other designers in the Team. You will need plenty of experience working on larger scale projects, handling suppliers, putting together FF&E schedules and design schemes.

Skills and Experience expected from the FF&E Interior Designesr:

  • A minimum of 4 years' of professional experience in high-end residential or hospitality

Our client specialises in Experiential Design, Production and Installation and are proud to count large brands and leading marketing agencies amongst their clients.

Their Production Team works both in the production workshop and onsite as directed by Workshop Manager. They are currently seeking an individual who can support in all aspects of production build, general workshop responsibilities and on-site work as required. This role also acts as an Assistant to the Workshop Manager.

This is a hands-on role with tasks which includes prop making, CAD drawing, carpentry, metalworking, spray painting, scenic finishes, paint management, general production build, CAD interpretation, CNC & Laser cutter operation, vinyling, installation crewing, lead carpenter, sanding, filling & finishing.

The role includes development of practical skills including scenic, LX, sound & electronics and working in line with the Company sustainability policy, ensuring minimising wastage and organising off cuts of production material for use on subsequent jobs. Health & Safety compliance is essential as is quality control for all projects.

This position is based on a 42.5 hour week with a salary of £28k to £35k dependent on experience and skill level plus BUPA Medical & EATP and Pension.


Skills and Experience needed for the Production Team role:

  • Ability to perform practical tasks in the workshop
  • Strong carpentry and construction skills, ideally to include set build and props
  • Knowledge of paint & materials for scenic painting
  • Able to communicate effectively including with subcontractors
  • To be organised and understand the need to meet deadlines
  • Have a sustainable approach to working at all times
  • Able to hold high levels of attention to detail and quality control

They are now currently looking for a CAD Technician to produce Sales Drawings using Autodesk Revit for bespoke high-end joinery for 6 to 12 months’ maternity cover. You will be joining a company with a very low turnover of staff and a friendly and helpful team. This will be a full-time office based role.

Skills and experience sought for the CAD Furniture Technician:

  • You must be computer literate, proficient with AutoCAD and ideally Revit. Full training will be provided for the right candidate which may include a period of working alongside their current CAD Technician as required
  • Experience with architecture and fitted furniture
  • Able to think for yourself and come up with practical solutions
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English
