This is an exciting opportunity to join a flourishing Nottingham based company specialising in the design, manufacture and retail of furniture, lighting and interior accessories.
Freelance, part time or full time employment is available depending upon the situation and availability of the individual. You must have extensive knowledge of cabinet furniture and/or upholstery design (including an understanding of frame construction and foam specifications). Experience of lighting design would be beneficial but is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with substantial experience of designing and developing furniture for an established furniture retailer. The main aim of this role is to liaise with key people in production to ensure a seamless flow of product through operations and to monitor the times taken to ensure these are reflective of those used in planning and estimation. You will also be jointly responsible for checking orders in production are meeting the customers’ expectations, finished on time and meet the quality requirements of the customer and the company.
