The role is a combination of design, converting sketches onto AutoCAD and liaising with both clients and the workshop supporting the production process from start to finish.

Person / Experience Required:

• You will be a furniture design graduate
• A passion for furniture design and experience working in a design led business is essential
• You will be fully literate in AutoCAD and ideally the Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic website design and an eye for photography is also highly desired
• Knowledge of cabinet making would be an advantage
• Full, clean driving licence necessary

Our client is a small architectural and interior design consultancy based in North London but working with clients nationwide. They are primarily involved in restaurant design, but also undertake a range of other commercial and residential projects.

They are currently looking for an Interior Design Assistant to work alongside the Principal Designer in order to expand their team enabling them to provide a full service to their existing clients and help the company to develop their client base further.

The role is primarily to work on planning drawings, technical drawings and specifications, but the successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the process, from initial client consultations through to management of projects on site.

• Proficient in 3DS Max, Vray and Photoshop, knowledge of Solidworks would be advantageous.
