You will be part of the team that designs and develops innovative, quality products for introduction into all markets and territories and be an active part of the departments program of product life cycle management, ensuring current ranges are both up-to-date and in line with current market trends both in the UK & International markets.
With a minimum of 1 years’ product development experience gained within a manufacturing sector, experience of working with both UK & Far Eastern manufacturers would be beneficial. With an understanding of consumer needs and expectations, the role requires initiative, the development of product knowledge and analytical skills. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is expected. A good working knowledge of SolidWorks and Adobe Creative Suite is essential along with an understanding of Microsoft office.

This practice creates bespoke furniture for the residential marketplace and luxurious interiors. Based in Surrey, the interior design division's business is growing and so they are seeking an interior designer who has a particular expertise with soft furnishings and decor. They often work alongside Architects on projects, so the architectural elements of the interior design projects will be handled by them, although the designer will still be responsible for all aspects of spatial design and CAD drawings.
This role requires someone who is able to complete all aspects of design from concept to completion to an extremely high standard on some of the most prestigious residential properties in the UK. You will be required to manage excel spreadsheets, detailing and tracking relevant orders/Information specific to multiple projects. As well as procuring and monitoring items necessary to those projects.
You will need to have excellent communication skills as well as innovative design capabilities - with a good knowledge of the London market and qualified in Interior Design. With 3-5+ years’ experience you will also need good administrative skills, be AutoCAD literate and have good presentation skills, able to liaise with clients.

With a proven track record of providing a blue chip client base with Architectural, Design and Project Management services this company has the experience to structure and implement major roll out programs for the retail and leisure industry, on a National or International scale. They currently have a vacancy for an Interior Designer to join their team of designers located in Oxfordshire, although applicants will be expected to travel throughout the UK, with some European projects included. Although not a senior role opportunities exist to expand all the way to the top very rapidly.
You will need at least two years retail food and beverage design experience, a suitable background design qualification and a good deal of common sense. Current demonstrable CAD (preferably AutoCAD) drawing skills will be required along with software based presentation graphics capabilities. The work is fast paced and requires design management of simultaneous separate projects.
